McKenzie River
Fishing Lodge Home

For the adventurous! Here is a
chance to own an authentic McKenzie
Valley fishing location, this can’t
be duplicated. The 1920? Vintage
home is snuggled beside Bear creek,
just across the road from the
McKenzie River. The three quarter
acre site is covered with old growth
fir and cedar trees and natural
vegetation. Bear creek is, literally
just outside the bedroom window! The
lot extends across the creek, so you
have a great place to watch nature
at it’s most pristine while you
enjoy the sounds of the rippling
water.
The home has been preserved and
repaired with an eye to retain as
much of the original as possible.
The original rippled glass windows,
the kitchen cabinetry and the knotty
pine paneling with deep red stain in
the living room. The exterior has
the original hand split shakes on
most of the walls. The roof is
forest green metal with white
gutters and trim, and the round rock
fireplace and chimney complete the
perfect look of the place.
It even has a mounted deer head over
the mantle!
The two bedroom main house has all
drywall interiors and has electric
heat as well as a large fireplace.
But now, for the serious fisherman,
there is a separate shop/garage, two
cars wide and two cars deep. Perfect
to store your car, pickup truck,
boat and ATV!
AND there is a guest suite/ den/
office with a full bath attached.
The grounds are
just as they have been for years,
with lots of rockwork. Walls,
stairways and flowerbeds.
There is also a place to dump your
Motor home holding tank into the
septic system.
